In Brief:

I met Michelle at previous clients wedding (at same venue!), so once enegaged we spent ages chatting, including rearranging from a Spring theme to Autumn due to the blimin’ pandemic. The couple are wonderfully down to earth, no messing with faff and tat, just looking for a simply glorious and memorable time with friends and family, Right up my street! They had a small gathering but what I was in love with was the complete support and adoration from their group. The venue was filled with warmth and laughter constantly. This feeling unfortunately isnt at every wedding but its the reason I try so hard to work with my clients, to get just this kind of feeling. I want to bottle it!

The day was a soggy one but with a hot tub, fab food and drinks flowing, it didnt effect the party. Highlights were the surprise sing-a-long, emotional ceremony and Adrian in a blonde wig!!! Still makes me chuckle! The venue worked well for the chilled vibe. Buffet service in the kitchen with seating throughout the ground floor. Then a party ensued in the Coach House.

I’m sad my time with the couple has ended. It was a lovely journey to be on and with lovely people!

Kind words from the couple:

Why did you look for a planner? Because I wanted my wife to relax and enjoy the event

Why did you choose Annabel? We met her at a wedding fair and I realised she had planned a friends wedding I had attended which went really well so we felt she would be a good choice.

How did you decide on your key suppliers? The venue had preferred suppliers and I had attended a wedding serviced by some of the suppliers so was familiar with their work

What was the most difficult part of planning? Constant rescheduling due to a global pandemic

How did Annabel help in the planning? Kept track of all the requirements down to the last detail (even with constantly changing plans) with astonishing skill and also kept us on track with spend.

Was having Annabel there on the day worthwhile? 110% There were things she dealt with on the day and we never even knew about it. As well as planning she helped decorate the venue and she dealt with everything so we could focus on really enjoying the day.

What advice would you give to others planning a DIY wedding? Get a really good planner and get recommendations on other suppliers.

Would you recommend Annabel? A million times over. She knows how to interpret your vision and makes it a reality!

Thanks you lovely pair!
