Elopements by Annabel

Small but mighty!

As we face yet another month of uncertainty in this pandemic world, I have been busy adapting to ensure my little business copes and gets to see another season. Rather missing weddings too!

I have realised that I can be very optimistic yet realistic so delved into what I enjoy doing and what I am good at. This is the advice I have been giving a lot of other small businesses struggling at the moment. The wedding industry especially is only just keeping its head above water. Now is the time to fall back on your skills and experience that can be used for other fields of work or the changing world.

So, for the foreseeable I am offering new Elopement Services! This micro wedding option is basically just the couple getting wed with maybe a photographer, Celebrant, bouquet and great grub! Its now one of the biggest trends due to numbers for weddings only allowed to 15 guests. I can see the appeal when you have already moved your date four time and just want to get wed! Many suppliers and venues have created options for these types of events which is really exciting. Couples can elope in any way they like and then many are planning on a big party post-covid.

My offer is to piece together all the elements for the couple so planning is easy and they get to just show up and enjoy! The extras you can have are truly wonderful. Imagine saying vows on a fell top, indulging in a hamper of Cumbrian goodies, boating down a lake, popping to try some clay pigeon shooting then sipping a glass of fizz in a cosy cottage or grand castle?! Yes, that could be your day!

The legal side of proceedings can be done in a registered venue or you could even do that part in your local registry office followed by a blessing where you like.

Plus, I will bring in a team to suit personalities, requirements and budget. Photographer, personal chef, celebrant… even a live streaming service for anyone in the world to join in with! You think of it and I will find you it!

If an Elopement sounds like the right thing for you, get in touch and lets chat about what you’d both really like to do.
